Yemeni Vice President, Abed Rabbo Mansur Hadi, since yesterday took over the responsibilities of President Ali Abdullah Saleh, who came to Saudi Arabia met after being wounded by bombing the presidential palace that left seven dead. The Yemeni Constitution provides that the vice president must lead the country during the absence of the Head of State, however, a Yemeni source denied that Saleh is out of power.

Prime Minister Ali Mujawar and four other leaders, also wounded in the bombing, had been transferred to Saudi Arabia for treatment.
