.- Four policemen were killed today in the Syrian population of Jisr al Shagur, northwest of Damascus, a day after ten people were killed by gunfire from security forces, official Syrian television reported. The Syrian channel issued several urgent information which said that four policemen were killed as a result of attacks by terrorists who blew up the post office in the town.
Syrian television said the people of Jisr al Shagur asked security forces to intervene to restore order. The authorities and the public media in the country, contend that terrorist groups are not identified those behind the popular mobilizations that began in the middle of last March calling for more democracy and the fall of the regime of Bashar al-Asad .
Today's events in Jisr al Shagur took place after ten people were killed yesterday in this same population by sniper fire and security personnel. Sham opposition network Facebook revealed that there are snipers on the roofs of houses and shoot people there are arrests and house searches at this location.
The same group said it has cut electricity and water supply. Syrian protesters have been victims of harsh repression that the international community has condemned and has caused more than a thousand people killed since the protests began in mid-March last.
