Egypt: Demonstrators call for swift end to the Mubarak era

The revolution in Egypt is far from over. Hundreds of thousands of people huddled in Cairo with the Tahrir Square, waving Egyptian flags - and accused the ruling military council, too slow to act against the corruption of the era of Mubarak. The mass demonstration on Tahrir Square, the political observers by surprise: hundreds of thousands of people on Friday require a faster adjudication of the resigned President Hosni Mubarak, his sons, Gamal and Alaa and the hated first lady Suzanne Mubarak.

The protesters demanded immediately against corruption, abuse and crimes accused ex-ministers and policy makers to act. "The people want to overthrow the regime", "Down with the criminals" and "How long should we wait?" which was read out in countless banners. The disappointment of the young revolutionaries of the slow pace of the investigation against the Mubarak-clique, the conflicting reports and rumors about the situation to the sophistication of Sharm al-Sheikh ausgewichenen Mubarak clan erupted after Friday prayers chanting in a vehemence, as they have been the first revolution after 25 days January were not heard.
