Pope invokes the assistance and relief to the people of Libya

.- Benedict XVI today invoked relief and assistance to the populations of Libya, while ensuring their prayers for the victims of violent clashes in recent days in the African country. During the Sunday Angelus blessing and before several thousand people gathered in St. Peter's Square Vatican expressed concern about the social upheavals that have occurred in recent weeks in several Arab nations.
