The black boxes of Air France Airbus crash exempt

PARIS, 17 May. The data extracted from the black box containing the flight parameters of the Air France plane that fell into the Atlantic in June 2009 Airbus could exempt a manufacturer from any liability, according to Gallo publishes the journal 'Le Figaro'. Apparently, the first evidence after reading the flight data to conclude that the A330 was "harmless", which leads investigators to a possible pilot error.

The accident killed all 228 passengers, of 32 different nationalities, including 72 French and 59 Brazilians. According to that newspaper, which quoted government sources and close to the investigation, researchers are now trying to determine what happened in the cabin for what they should look at the contents of the register from the conversations of the pilots in the last two hours of flight.

In this line, probably on Tuesday moved that new elements could be known about the responsibility of the incident. However, a spokesman for Air France recalled to 'Le Figaro' that the BEA has not yet completed the analysis of the two black boxes. For its part, the Office of Research and Analysis for Aviation Safety of Civil Aviation (BEA, by its French acronym), responsible for clarifying the causes of the accident, he insisted that at this stage "can not draw conclusions." In this regard, said that research "has only just begun" and said that any information regarding the progress of the same if not confirmed by the BEA is considered "null".

INTERIM REPORT, NOT BEFORE THE SUMMER. Also, the BEA said the researchers have to analyze and validate all data from a process "long and laborious, therefore, as announced, will not issue a new interim report before the summer. This is the third report of the BEA, after more than two years of searching for wreckage in an area of 10,000 km to about 4,000 meters under the sea, and the analysis of more than 1,000 fragments of the plane.

The previous interim reports by the BEA suggesting that the aircraft crossed a storm front minutes before the accident and reading the speedometer was not adequate, and recommended the replacement of speed sensors known as' pitot 'Thales brand, being unsure of their reliability at high altitude.

In addition, the warning system did not work. The two cash registers, orange, arrived in France on Thursday kept in demineralized water after their rescue, which has enabled us to recover "full" all its contents. Researchers have warned then that its content should be subject to analysis "detailed and thorough" that could take "several weeks."
