Multiculturalism is still working?

Maghreb days ago I see a guy peeing on the wall of a building near the house. I am a bit 'heated, I admit, I screamed that it sucked and that these things will not do. He threatens me, but he was drunk, not even stand up. Search of coming upon me the way and he falls - and who we have seen we have seen.

It ends there. A sciura the street - he had refrained from acting, of course - tells me tone wise, "we must not say anything to these people because it is dangerous. And they do it at home anyway, so .... " Now, apart from that I was over there and it is not true that people behave like that (because there do not drink alcohol), but then, do the old lady, "Excuse me but what do I care? Here you do not, period.

" Anyway, do not do it in front of me, piece of ass drunk. Even without reaching this obvious, because for me it is a truism that you can not urinate on the walls of buildings in Milan, in heart and in broad daylight, but also in the suburbs for that matter, or at night, although it was true that there do freely, it would be really angry if they do wrong here? Or worse, it is right that someone would say "well, but there it is"? Let me explain: if you really urinate on the walls of the buildings was a matter of local customs, this would justify him in Milan, at least in part? Nicolas Sarkozy a few days ago he said on TV that "multiculturalism is clearly failed." "Obviously we respect the differences, but we do not want [...] a society where different communities co-exist side by side.

If you come to France you have agreed to incorporate in one community, which is the national community, and if you do not agree then you are not liked in France. The national community of France can not accept a change in his lifestyle, in equality between men and women [...] freedom for girls to attend school.

We have worried too much about the identity of the person who was coming and not enough of the identity of the country was accepting. "Sarkozy also said that Muslims can practice their religion, of course, but they can not do that ostentatious street. Marine Le Pen at the end of last year has treated Muslims praying in the street, outside a mosque in overcrowded, the Nazi occupation.

And this is the thought of David Cameron, British Prime Minister, who has advocated building a stronger British national identity (perhaps you almost forget that until the fifties ruled half the world) of Chancellor Angela Merkel, former Australian Prime Minister John Howard and former Spanish Prime Minister Jose Maria Aznar.

Merkel also said the total failure of multiculturalism after a heated national debate on the book by a banker who wrote that immigrants, particularly Islamic ones, are making Germany "the most stupid." In short, for all these bigwigs of the government's most advanced nations of the world coesisistenza of the various communities side by side is not possible.

The immigrants must be integrated in the national identity of the host country. Respect local customs and try to adopt them. I personally think as I always said in the U.S.: if you go to Rome you have to behave like a Roman. Sic et simpliciter. There has to be part of those who is a conscious effort to enforce laws, local customs, and by those who are here, to accept minor differences.

But I think it is necessary that the values and customs of the basis will be adopted. In your opinion, multiculturalism can exist? What do you think? (Not the guy who urinated on the wall of the building because for me it's obvious: regardless of nationality I would have done the clean up of the facade, as well as forcing him to apologize, but).
