MADRID, 7 Jun. The Brazilian company TAM has canceled all its flights on Tuesday between Brazil and Buenos Aires (Argentina), Montevideo (Uruguay), Santiago (Chile), Asuncion (Paraguay) as a preventive measure to volcanic ash from Chile volcano Puyehue that could reach southern Brazil. The measure, which also affects 11 other Gol flight, take to the existence of "risks to the operation of flights" and to "guarantee security" for passengers.
TAM said that weather conditions make the density and movement of the ash cloud are "continuous change." The airline has said in a statement that all passengers on affected flights will be served and that as far as possible be accommodated on the next available connections.
