The first reported Tuesday on the hospitalization of the deposed president, after his interrogation and Wednesday on the arrest of three men.

Two months after the fall of Mubarak, in power for 30 years, the pressure persists in Egypt that the former head of state and his family are judged. In a statement posted on the Facebook page for the prosecution, a spokesman said that the prosecutor Abdel Magid Mahmoud authorized the detention of this year.

The violent repression of demonstrations have left some 800 dead, officials said. Mubarak was admitted on Tuesday at the International Hospital of Sharm el-Sheikh resort on the shores of the Red Sea shortly after suffering a heart attack while being questioned by prosecutors, state media reported.

His health is "unstable," the official MENA news agency quoted a medical source. Another hospital source quoted by MENA denied that a military helicopter had landed near the hospital to transfer the former president to Cairo. "That's just a rumor," said the source, in response to a report by MENA satellite channel Al Jazeera as a military helicopter which had landed near the hospital in Sharm el Sheikh Hosni Mubarak to move to the capital.

According to state television, Mubarak had refused to eat and drink after being informed that it would be interrogated. He was admitted to a hospital ward reserved for persons with bodyguards. His two sons arrived Wednesday morning at the Tora prison in southern Cairo. In this prison are admitted to several ministers and senior officials of the deposed regime.

They were seen to receive the white outfits reserved for prisoners, as well as blankets and mattresses, having given up their mobile phones, according to Mena. In shock, refused breakfast. Ruling National Democratic Party (NDP), chaired by his father, Gamal concentrated before the revolt in making this training a tool to access a day to the presidency.

In the family circle, his mother Suzanne actively supported his ambition to become the successor to the old president, in power since 1981. For its part, Alaa, eldest son of Hosni Mubarak, 49, left his brother's political platform and turned to make a prosperous career in business discreet, mainly real estate, with few public appearances.

Both are accused of inciting to fire on demonstrators during a popular uprising that lasted from 25 January to 11 February, when Mubarak reluctantly resigned. After his resignation, Mubarak moved with his family to a residence in Sharm el Sheikh. Although travel was banned, their relative freedom was criticized by various sectors of the population.

The weekly demonstrations demanding his trial attracted tens of thousands of people and led to a deadly confrontation with the soldiers on Saturday in Tahrir Square in Cairo.
