For 2012, the Obama campaign has to reinvent itself, says a strategist of President

President Barack Obama may not be re-elected in 2012 if his supporters are unable to develop a campaign that can return the 2008 to oblivion, said Monday his campaign manager, Jim Messina. "This is not 2008," warns Jim Messina in a viral video to the faithful supporters of Bush. "If we just do the same campaign, we are likely to lose.

We must wage a campaign of a new type," he says. "In 2012, we can send 2008 to the prehistory (...) reinventing the campaign," he said. Obama, an official candidate for re-election since the beginning of the month, just walked up to the electoral arena, but its headquarters moved to Chicago in the breach to try to improve the system which had allowed the away in 2008 through a campaign of proximity.

Jim Messina calls on Obama supporters to conduct "a campaign of insurgents" fighting for every vote, starting with their friends and family, and to identify themes that will set the tone of the meetings will begin when Mr. Obama for good roads to crisscross the country next year. Once again, his strategists plan to use the Internet and social networks to establish a network of activists and a large pool of financial contributors, while not giving up on more traditional methods that have proven themselves as the door to door.
