Argentina .- Casa Sefarad pay tribute to the Jewish poet Pizarnik Argentina during the Night of the Books

MADRID, 26 Abr. Casa Sefarad pay tribute to the Jewish poet Pizarnik Argentina on Wednesday, during the celebration of The Night of the Books in Madrid, with a presentation and the presentation of a book by the writer, as reported by the institution in a statement. At 19.30 am on Wednesday will begin this double homage to a poet who, 75 years after his birth and 39 of his tragic death, continues to attract the interest and admiration of critics and readers.

For the tribute, Casa Sefarad will feature Sandra Bonaventure, Université de Paris Sorbonne (Paris IV), which will give a presentation entitled 'Pizarnik: Newspapers as a novel', which deepened on the figure of the author, considered a the lyrical and surrealist poets Argentina's most important and one of the most representative voices of the generation of 70 in Spanish.

Subsequently, the culture department director of Casa Sefarad-Israel, Esther Bendahan, and the director of the Publishers, Claudio Pérez Miguez, will present the play 'Two early poems, "which includes copies of two original poems Pizarnik' Smoke 'and' Reminiscence '. This double tribute is part of the series 'Pizarnik not 75 years old', promoted by Casa Sefarad-Israel in collaboration with the Contemporary Art Center that features an intensive program consisting of three days around the figure of the poet Argentina.

The first conference will take place on Tuesday from 19.30 pm with the opening of a photographic exhibition on biblio-journalistic Pizarnik that for two months, will allow visitors to look at photographs, manuscripts, letters, drawings, first editions of books and magazines, and even a photo gallery of contemporary authors to compose a complete picture of the life and work of Pizarnik.

The inauguration will be attended by the director of the Center of Modern Art and curator of the exhibition, Raúl Manrique Pigs Ear Center director, Claudio Pérez Miguez, and general director of Casa Sefarad-Israel, Diego de Ojeda. To liven up the act guitarist Adam Levin will perform some * pieces.

Also on Thursday April 28 planned an intensive dialogue between the writer Ana Becciú Argentina - who shared hours of friendship and Pizarnik literature - and Raul Manrique Pigs. Later, as a culmination of the cycle, will be a reading of poems by poets Diego Valverde, Juana Vázquez and Sebastian Fiorilli.
