Pakistan: 15 dead after firing U.S. drones

A burst of gunfire from U.S. drone killed at least 15 died Tuesday, Dec. 28 in a tribal area of northwest Pakistan, bordering Afghanistan. This attack, like almost all the bombing of U.S. drones in recent months, targeted the North Waziristan, a stronghold of Pakistani Taliban fighters and their allies in Al Qaeda, and a rear base for Afghan Taliban who conduct attacks against NATO in Afghanistan.
