Iran announces that it has hung a "Mossad spy '

Iran announced on Tuesday, December 28, the hanging of a "spy for the Mossad" Israeli, a month after a double bombing, attributed to Iran by Israeli intelligence services, U.S. and UK, which targeted two key nuclear scientists. This is the second Iranian convicted of spying for Israeli intelligence (Mossad) to be hanged since 2008.

Ali Akbar Siadat was executed Tuesday morning at Evin prison in Tehran, reported the official news agency IRNA quoted the public prosecutor and revolutionary Tehran. According to prosecutors, Ali Akbar Siadat, arrested in 2008 while "trying to leave the country with his wife," had established contacts with "the Israeli intelligence services" for six years.

"During interrogation, he confessed to having collected information given to an intelligence officer of the Zionist regime about military exercises, military bases, (...) combat aircraft, the number of training flights in each basic airplane accidents, air systems and missiles of the Revolutionary Guards, "the military and ideological elite of the country, prosecutors said.

In late November, Iran accused the Israeli intelligence services, U.S. and UK of being responsible for two bombings that targeted two Iranian nuclear experts. The first, Majid Shahriari, was killed by a bomb placed against his car and the second, Fereydoun Abbassi Davani injured in a similar attack.

According to prosecutors, Ali Akbar Siadat, who had been in 2007 "of equipment and a computer" for his espionage, confessed to having received "60,000 dollars" for information sent to "the enemy". During his arrest he had on him "twenty-nine pages of documents," said the prosecutor, adding that his contacts with Israel took place "in Turkey, Thailand and Holland, usually in hotels." Sentenced to death by a trial court, his sentence was upheld on appeal.

On Sunday, Attorney General of Tehran, Abbas Jafari Dolatabadi, announced that another spy "Zionist regime" was sentenced to death. "After the confirmation of his sentence, his identity will be revealed", "he said, adding that justice was considering" other matters related to espionage.

" In November 2008, Iran hanged another Iranian, Ali Ashtari, who was convicted of spying for Israel and announced the dismantling of a spy ring working for Israel. Justice had requested the death penalty against the three "spies" of the network, without revealing their identity. It is unclear whether Ali Akbar Siadat was among three people arrested.

The honor of the Glorious Islamic Republic is safe! The bad guys are arrested and punished zespions mercilessly! This is a great communication operation, in my opinion especially for indoors. The scheme, which is experiencing some setbacks (and whose president is illegitimate), plays on the national reflex and detestation of a sort of hereditary enemy to hide the internal economic difficulties and diplomatic isolation of the country.
