The voice of the people of Egypt have been heard Ban Ki-moon says

.- The secretary general of the Organization of the United Nations (UN), Ban Ki-moon said today that the Egyptian people's voice was heard, after President Hosni Mubarak handed over power to the military. ''The voice of the people of Egypt, especially its youth, has been heard, and it is they who should determine the future of their country,''Ban said at a news conference at UN headquarters in New York.

The maximum head of the UN explained that in this time of political transition in Egypt was vital respect for human rights and civil liberties. He also called for''a peaceful transition, transparent and orderly''that includes''''free and fair elections leading to a civilian government. It also recognized the Egyptian people for driving political change in his country with courage and orderly, while fighting for their legitimate rights''.'' Ban also reiterated the readiness of the UN to assist in the transition process in Egypt.

On Mubarak, said he understood that his decision to abandon the''power''must have been difficult, but was in favor of the broader interest of the Egyptian people.
