Five people die and more than 50 are injured in two attacks in Iraq

.- At least five people were killed and over fifty injured by the explosion of two car bombs in central Mosul, 400 kilometers north of Baghdad, sources told Efe the Iraqi police. According to sources, the first vehicle loaded with explosives was detonated at a passing police patrol in the area at Dauasa.

Shortly thereafter, coinciding with the arrival of security forces and the concentration of civilians in the area to the incident, there was the outbreak of a second car. The sources said that most victims are civilians. Five police officers suffered injuries of varying severity in the blasts, which also caused damage in eleven cars and 20 shops and restaurants in the area, the sources, who did not rule to increase the number of people killed by the severity of injuries.

Security forces have begun to strengthen security throughout the city for fear of more attacks.
