At least six dead and 50 wounded in Iraq in a string of attacks

At least six people were killed and 53 others were wounded in ten bombings and two other car bombings have occurred in different areas of Baghdad. According to police sources, four bombs and a car bomb exploded in Al Amal neighborhood in the southwest of the city, near a police station, which killed two civilians and wounding fifteen people, including three soldiers.

In the Al Talabiya, in eastern Baghdad, detonating an explosives-laden vehicle into a caravan of official cars have killed a civilian. In the attack, which was aimed at managing director of internal affairs of the Ministry of Interior, who was unhurt, were also injured five people, including two members of the bodyguard of a senior official.

Two other civilians were killed and seven were wounded when a bomb exploded in a popular market district of Medinat Sadr in eastern Baghdad near Sadr Hospital. In a market in the same neighborhood blew up another item that left five civilians wounded. In addition, the explosion of two bombs nearly simultaneously in the Al Waziq Square, central Baghdad's al-Karrada district, killing one civilian and wounding a dozen people, including six police officers.

The blast destroyed several cars and caused damage in several buildings in the square. Also this morning a bomb exploded at a police patrol happened, which caused six injuries, including a police officer in Beirut Square in eastern Baghdad, and three other civilians were wounded when an explosive device in Al Tiyari Street, in the Al Saidiya in the southwest of the capital.

Moreover, last night a policeman was killed and another wounded in western Mosul, 400 kilometers north of Baghdad, two explosions in the city.
