Morocco Square explosion kills 14

A strong explosion occurred at a cafe in the central square of Marrakech, Morocco, killing at least 14 people and wounded dozens of different nationalities, said the Moroccan Ministry of Interior. Moroccan emergency services are the scene removing victims, including employees and customers are the cafeteria, while police cordoned off the area around the Place Jamaa El Fna, the main tourist center of Marrakesh.

According to the agency Maghreb Arabe Presse (MAP), the explosion was''huge,''because it has been heard in neighborhoods up to two kilometers away from this establishment. The authorities have opened an investigation to determine whether it was a criminal act or an accident, but now handled by media reports that several gas cylinders exploded in the cafeteria Argana, located in the plaza.
