"We will insist on the withdrawal of nuclear weapons from Europe"

The German government will defend the euro area and German society conviction means that effort. But there is a clear red line "measures that socialize European debt is not an option." Well summarizes the German government's position in the storm on the euro zone liberal Hoyer Werner (Wuppertal, Düsseldorf, 1951), Minister of State for Europe, a position with a seat in the federal Cabinet, who in an interview in Madrid also stressed that Berlin will continue to stress Europe's call for the withdrawal of tactical nuclear bombs.

Question. Are you tired of German society to make sacrifices for other members of the EU? Response. I'm not so worried. Naturally, if you ask people if they like to sacrifice, the answer is negative. But if you put the issue in a broader context things change, because people in my country knows what kind of benefit is the process of European integration and knows that the euro is the heart of it.

On the other hand, of course, people realize that some things are not fair. Given our demographic situation are forced to extend working life to 67 years to reach the pension. People wonder how the EU is supporting countries in which it is not even possible to raise the pension age from 58 to 60 years.

This is a different story, but yet I am optimistic. P. Are there conditions that would make it acceptable to the German Government extending the European bailout fund? R. I think that within a month we need to make decisions. I will not mention any early decision, for example the fund or the purchase of bonds, it is too soon.

We need to discuss a package package. We must avoid any action that would allow attacks against the euro to succeed. P. Does the creation of Eurobonds is a proposal already rejected by the German Government? R. It is not an option. That would remove the incentives to achieve national stability in the countries concerned and socialize while public debt at European level.

P. His government is pushing, along with other countries for the withdrawal of tactical nuclear bombs deployed in Europe. This position is divergent with the United States and France. R. Put this in the context of nonproliferation. After the great success of the Obama and Medvedev to the new START treaty signed last year, it makes sense to continue in this process.

Should alert the likely inability of States to prevent these weapons end up in wrong hands. The logic of tactical nuclear weapons no longer makes sense. From a military standpoint, to me, are completely useless. Therefore, if you are a risk that part of the solution of a problem, we should get rid of them.

Pursue this project.
