35 Mexican evict Egypt

American citizens began to leave Egypt, with the current protests raged in the Arab nation with clashes between opponents and supporters of President Hosni Mubarak. Regional authorities reported the departure of Egyptian territory at least 65 Latin American countries, including 35 Mexicans, 18 from Uruguay, six Argentines, five Dominicans, a Brazilian and Costa Rica.

It was announced that dozens more were ready to be evacuated from Egypt, a country that some governments of the Bolivarian Alternative of the Americas (Alba) he wanted to achieve a peaceful and without foreign interference. The Mexican Foreign Ministry said in a statement that a chartered plane out of Egypt to Greece with 35 of its citizens.

He noted that the group are Mexican residents, tourists and relatives of diplomats assigned to the embassy, but did not say if the other Americans lived there or were on the road. Mexico has said his embassy had registered fewer than 200 Mexicans living in Egypt, although the figure could be higher because their citizens are not required to register with the diplomatic representation.

"The vast majority are Mexicans living in Egypt, and by recent events requested support from the embassy to leave," revealed Daniel Hernandez, director general for the Protection of Mexicans Abroad. Daniel Hernandez shared the case of an Egyptian family where the husband, who originally requested the support to flee the country, eventually chose to stay there.

"They are looking for options and commercial flight from Athens. Will not reach everyone in a group, we estimate that from Saturday start coming, that is, during the weekend to begin arriving in Mexico. " Hernandez said that "there is a permanent contact with all the Mexican Embassy, some who were in the South, got out on commercial flights, some 20 more came by land through Israel." He noted that 10 other Mexicans are in Alexandria and is scheduled to go today in Egypt.
