Tunis, still fighting: three people killed the nephew of Ben Ali

Still shots of gunfire in the night in Tunis. According to the satellite TV 'al-Arabiya' are three of the deaths recorded. But by morning the atmosphere in the capital is characterized by a calm full of tension. In the center of the city, the scene of violent clashes area until the flight of Ben Ali, some cafes have reopened.

The army continued to patrol the streets to avoid a repetition of the looting and violence of the last hours. The military police have arrested so far about 3 thousand Tunisians considered loyal to ousted President Zin El Abidin Ben Ali. According to reports from the Arab TV 'al-Jazeera', among them was arrested a group of 50 agents of Ben Ali's personal guard who tried to escape on board some buses to Libya.

According to local observers there would be police officers loyal to former president behind the raids and looting perpetrated in the past few nights to the detriment of the shops and civilian houses in Tunisia. Some army units have surrounded the headquarters of the Ministry of Interior.

Currently it is not clear why this deployment of forces in the area but could have been decided by the ministerial office to defend the attack of bands that still run in the city. Meanwhile, the French photographer, died this morning Agency EPA, Lucas Mebrouk Dolega, 32, was wounded in the head by a tear gas grenade last Friday in Tunis.

Yesterday he died in hospital the nephew of the wife of Ben Ali, Imed Trabelsi. The death occurred as a result of an assault suffered in Tunis on Friday, possibly with cold. Trabelsi was considered by the Tunisian symbol of corruption and wealth plundered the country. The other day instead died of a heart attack on adviser and spokesman for Ben Ali, Abdelaziz Bin Dhiya.

He reports the Tunisian radio 'Kalima'. Bin Dhiya was one of the most trusted advisers of the former head of state, removed from the same Ben Ali from his post last Thursday in an attempt to stop the uprising.
