Support outside of Egypt

Support rallies were held outside the borders of Egypt. In Tunisia, where the "jasmine revolution" and the fall of the regime of Ben Ali has shown the way to the Egyptian protest, a rally was held outside the Egyptian embassy in solidarity. "We are in solidarity with the Egyptian people (...). We were lucky and daring to overthrow the regime, they want the same thing," proclaimed the demonstrators.

In Amman, Jordan, where nearly 3,000 people demonstrated Friday against the cost of living, the noted several slogans in support of Egyptian opponents: "Hosni Mubarak, the plane waiting for you", "Greetings to the Egyptian people, all you inspired the nation. " In Paris, the League of Human Rights had called to gather Place de la Fontaine des Innocents, while a Facebook group has proposed a rally near the Egyptian embassy, instead of Uruguay Saturday at 14 hours.
