It lists the new constitution of Libya, said Gadhafi's son

.- The son of Libyan leader Muammar Gadhafi said the government would prevail over the rebels trying to overthrow his father and a new constitution was ready when the insurgency was defeated, on Wednesday said the station Al Arabiya. The satellite channel based in Dubai said Saif al Islam, speaking on Libyan state television, accused the rebel National Council based in Benghazi to be motivated by "power and wealth of oil".

Jamahiriya never be what it was, "said Saif al-Islam was quoted by Al Arabiya. "The era of the first Libyan (people's republic) is gone and a new draft constitution has been prepared," he added. Saif al-Islam is the son of Gadhafi publicly known but, like his father, has no official position in government.

The rebels have been trying since February to end the mandate of Gadhafi 41 years but have had trouble facing his most experienced and best equipped forces. Despite NATO air attacks allowed by Security Council resolution the United Nations to protect civilians, have made little progress toward the bastion of Gadhafi in Tripoli.

Saif al-Islam said the situation was changing in favor of the Libyan system, reported Al Arabiya. Said his father "prevail" on the rebels.
