Tens of thousands of protesters insist on calling for reform in Bahrain

.- Tens of thousands of protesters demonstrated today in the capital of Bahrain to insist on the need to adopt political reforms as part of protests that have been developed since 14 February. The protesters, from different points of the capital and surrounding areas gathered in the square Lulu, the epicenter of political protest to demand the resignation of the government, among other demands.

They also asked to be brought to justice those responsible for the police and army who ordered fire on opposition activists, in some incidents which caused seven deaths and hundreds injured. Today, Friday, was declared a day of mourning to remember the fallen victims during the protests.

Bareiní The Government has offered the opposition to participate in a national dialogue to negotiate the political reforms that are being asked, but opposition groups refuse to sit at the negotiating table until they apply some of them. The army has been withdrawn from the streets of Manama, and in the streets of this capital are just traffic cops.

As a sign of goodwill, bareiníes authorities freed more than 300 political prisoners, including 23 militants of a party representing Shiites, who dominate the country, but is ruled by a Sunni dynasty.
