Pollak explained that after inhaling a large amount of toxic gas released by the Israeli troops to break up the demonstration, Jawaher Abu Rahman was hospitalized in Ramallah this morning unconscious and died of asphyxia, despite the efforts made overnight by doctors to save his life. In yesterday's demonstration by hundreds of people, one of which was the Palestinian prime minister, Salam Fayad, and was organized last year in Bilin, where every Friday, 2010 Palestinians and Israeli peace activists and international had been holding marches in protest against the Israeli separation wall.
The demonstration was led by a large banner of thanks to the six Latin American countries-Brazil, Argentina, Uruguay, Paraguay, Bolivia and Ecuador, whose flags flew over the march, which in 2010 recognized or announced that they will soon recognize an independent state in the Palestinian territories occupied by Israel in 1967, Gaza, West Bank and East Jerusalem.
