Canada moves to staff its embassy in Tunisia

The Canadian Government said today that the staff considered nonessential embassy in Tunisia has been transferred temporarily to the violence of the protests in Morocco. The Canadian Foreign Ministry said it had "authorized the transfer of non-essential employees" of the Embassy of Tunisia, although no specific place where they have been displaced.

All services related to trade, "the embassy have been suspended until a further notice" while continuing to provide emergency consular assistance, the ministry also said the Canadian. The Canadian authorities have recommended that their citizens not to travel to Tunisia unless it is essential to the instability that prevails in the country.
