A fourth Egyptian burned today to bonzo (himself), while one of the men who hours earlier had set fire also died of the burns, reported security sources told Efe. The new victim is a mechanic of 35 years identified as Tarek Mohamed al-Gaddafi, who burned himself in the city of Ismailiya, located in the Suez Canal.
The sources explained that at the moment is unclear what caused the incident but apparently Al Gaddafi, who remains hospitalized, had been called to appear before the police. This case is the fourth that takes place in Egypt today after yesterday another city to burn off the Parliament building in the center of the capital, to protest the closure of a restaurant he owned in the province of Ismailiya.
On the other hand, sources reported the death of the young stand 25 years and identified as Ahmad Hashem al Sayed, who set himself on fire in the roof of the building where he lived in the neighborhood of Al Muntaza in Alexandria this morning. Hashem, who was graduated in law and had long been looking for work without success, had burns on 75 percent of the body.
The deceased was burned to the bonzo to protest the running of the administration, police and government labor policy, the same reasons that led to another two men to commit a similar action. The other two citizens who set themselves on fire today in Cairo are identified as an Egyptian lawyer Mohamed Farouk Mohamed Hassan, 50, and a retiree of 60 years, Sayid Ali al Sayed.
Hasan himself was burned at the seat of government to report that Egyptian police had not done enough to find the whereabouts of her daughter, who disappeared three months ago. For its part, the retired Al Sayed, who committed the same act against the parliament building, complained of not having drawn their pensions.
These two victims were taken to hospital Munira, according to sources, offered no details of the health of those affected, but said they suffered mental problems. These events occur after several people have been burned to the Bonze in Algeria, Mauritania and Tunisia. In the latter country, a similar action occurred on December 17, starring a young unemployed, was the spark that set off protests that led to the ouster of President Zine el Abidine Ben Ali.
