In Tunisia protesters defy curfew

Thousands of protesters defied the curfew in Tunisia and maintain their protest at the government palace in the capital demanding the departure of all ministers of former executive transition. This is the second night that defies curfew in the capital, which began at 20:00 local time (19:00 GMT), hundreds of people in Tunisia and elsewhere have joined the protest who arrived on Sunday from inside the country.

More than 3 000 people remained under curfew after demonstrating to the government headquarters in the old medina of Tunis, where hundreds of people arrived from the Sfax region and other parts of the country, said the coordinator of the call "Caravan of liberation," Nasri Mejri. This caravan of protesters from the countryside to the capital on Saturday left the region of Sidi Buzid, where social upheaval began in Tunisia, after the young Mohamed Buazizi bonzo blows to the 17 December to withdraw the police license for itinerant vegetable stand.

According Mejri, between Sunday and Monday, thousands of people in the regions of KaserĂ­n, Gafsa, Sfax, Bizerte and fabric, plus Sidi Buzid have come in hundreds of vehicles and walk to the capital to join the protest the seat of government. "Tunisia is free, the RCD out," demonstrators shouted in reference to match the power of Ben Ali, who has 12 of the 19 ministers of the transitional government, mostly in key positions as Interior, Defence, Foreign and Finance .

The Government Palace Square has become a makeshift protest camp, where people shared food and drink to the protesters who repeatedly sing the national anthem and chanted slogans against Prime Minister and the Government.
