LOGROÑO, 31 Mar. El Centro Cultural Caja Rioja de Arnedo host this Friday, April 1, the photographic exhibition of the Foundation Juan Bonal entitled "Brazil, love of children in the Amazon 'which will be open until April 16 Monday to Saturday from 18.30 to 21.30 hours. This exhibition is completed with the projection 'Brazil, thirst for children in the Amazon', on Friday April 8 at 19 hours, and a craft sale joint 8 and 9 April, from 18,30 to 21 30 hours in the Cultural Center.
All these activities are organized by the Fundación Juan Bonal, an NGO founded by the Sisters of Charity of Santa Ana for a channel of cooperation for the most disadvantaged places and people. Her advocacy work is done through various photo exhibitions on the situation of children in these countries, together with the report that complements the photographs.
The exhibition "Brazil, love of children in the Amazon 'includes 24 photographs that want to show the situation of children in northern Brazil in Brief and Anajás, two villages lost in the Amazon where the situation of childhood and adolescence is critical. The aim of this exhibition is to show the reality of these children, how they live, what they do, what your wishes * and the projects that the Foundation Juan Bonal done there to promote their development.
The projection that accompanies the sample to be passed in the Centro Cultural Caja Rioja de Arnedo the 8th of April we moved to this distant world of the Amazon and takes us into the lives of some of these children. We presented how you can change the lives of these people through cooperation projects.
The craft market is made up of products from countries where the Foundation Juan Bonal undertakes projects (India, Philippines, Rwanda, Congo, etc) also some fair trade products. The money obtained from these markets are fully allocated to projects in the country. For the market to be held at the Centro Cultural Caja Rioja Arnedo 8 and 9 April, the proceeds going to the project "Youth Challenge" in Brazil to help teens stop using drugs and prostitution through workshops and recreational and educational activities.
